Events

We organise many events during the year for social and fund-raising purposes. Our annual Progressive Dinner usually takes place in March, and is a very good way to meet new members in their own homes. Another popular event is the family BBQ, which takes place in June/July. We have also organised successful Skittles and Boules evenings at local hostelries.

All the above events are for members and their guests. However, we also organise larger fund-raising events that are open to the public. Our annual Wine and Wisdom Quiz which takes place in early February has become something of a fixture in Newick, and over the years we have also run our very own reincarnation of Café René as part of various village events.

Last, but very much not least, are the Official Visits between Newick and Itteville. These usually take place at the end of May, and for the past few years we have alternated between Newick visiting Itteville and vice-versa.
