Café René Archive

Café René started in 1994, when the Tour de France visited England. Two days of the race took place between Dover and Portsmouth, before returning to France, and during the first of these days the race passed through Newick. It was a real carnival atmosphere, and we in the Twinning Association decided to do our bit to generate some true French ambiance.
